Community grants

Catholic Caring provides essential help for people. We do this by funding non-profit community groups and organisations who share our values and are connected to families and individuals at a grass roots level.

About our grants

We cover the geographical area of the Auckland Catholic diocese, from the Far-North to Pukekohe, Tuakau, and Waiuku in the South, and across to Thames and the Coromandel (including Tairua, Pauanui, Whitianga and the Hauraki Plains).

Grants are typically for sums up to $15,000 for one year. In 2023, we were able to distribute grants to over 60 organisations. This was made possible by donations from donors, parishes, schools, other trusts and bequests and The Tindall Foundation.

Please note, our annual grants round is now closed and will re-open in mid-December 2023.
