He was a problem child from a problem family.

Now that has all changed. Charlie* was in trouble at school and at home and heading for disaster - at only eleven years of age.

The school called the Homework Club run by the local Catholic Parish and in just two terms Charlie's life has turned around. With tutoring for an hour once a week with people who believed in him, Charlie has made huge changes for himself - at a very young age. His school cannot believe the difference in him and his family are learning too, that they are capable of change.

The Catholic Caring Foundation has provided $15,000 to run the Homework Club over a two year period.
