The House of Bethany is run by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart and is based in Mission Bay.

The sisters run a place of time out for families who face difficulties in everyday life.  Focusing on the family, they offer support, advice and hospitality to families who struggle in many different ways.

Approaching and working with families in a holistic way, the House of Bethany welcomes families so they can gain quality time together.  It is a place where people are able to find peace away from their respective difficulties.  The house has become a home where families can relax, enjoy each others company, renew the spirit and enhance ones self esteem.

The Catholic Caring Foundation provided $4,000 to support 20 family groups to stay at Bethany House in 2007.
