Ben Matatutia of Papatoetoe Adolescent Christian Trust (PACT) has been running a group for addicts and the homeless that usually sees about 35 people turning up twice a week for a meal and to listen to a devotion.
14 year old Sam comes from a family who are struggling to cope with his alcohol addictions and truancy issues. Ben has spent time attending Child, Youth & Family and courts meetings with the family and encouraging Sam to have psychological testing to understand his reactions.
